Many of your Lighthouse features, such as security alerts, location-based Pings, and privacy mode, rely on the GPS of your phone in order to function correctly, so you will want to make sure that Lighthouse has permission to access your phone's location.
If the app determines that it cannot access your location, then you'll receive a pop-up reminder to turn on location services for Lighthouse.
To allow Lighthouse access to the location services of your phone:
- iOS users: open your phone’s Settings, scroll down and tap on Lighthouse, then make sure Location is set to Always.
- Android 6.0 users: open your phone’s Settings > Apps > App manager > Lighthouse > Permissions
- Android 7.0 users: open your phone’s Settings > Apps > Lighthouse > Permissions
- Android 8.0 users: option your phone’s Settings > Apps & Notifications > App permissions > Location (then make sure Lighthouse is toggled on).
