Lighthouse detects when you (and other users) are home or away, and arms or disarmsautomatically. You can also arm/disarm the system manually. Check out the guides below to learn more:
When Lighthouse is armed it will send you (and users on your account) an alert if it sees someone.
When Lighthouse is disarmed you won't get alerts, no matter who's seen. You'll still get Pings if they're triggered (learn more about setting up Pings).
Lighthouse arms and disarms automatically using your (and other users on your account) location, but can also be change manually.
Location: Lighthouse uses the GPS on your phone (and the phone of any users you've added) to tell when you (and they) arrive and leave. When the first user on your account arrives home, the system will disarm. It will stay disarmed as long as one user is home, then arm when the last one leaves.
For more on how GPS-arming works with multiple users on one account, see the article below.
Manual: On the Home tab in the app, just tap the padlock icon.
To get the most out of Lighthouse, it's best to add household members and frequent guests. This ensures (among other things) the system will only arm and alert you when the house is empty.
